Earning Trust Where Technical Depth Matters Most
In 2021, NexTurn began supporting a leading American multinational technology corporation in areas where deep technical specialization mattered most.
What started as a focused engagement around OpenStack and RedHat OpenShift has grown into a sustained engineering partnership built on technical depth, consistency, and performance in demanding environments.
From the outset, NexTurn was not positioned as just another execution partner. We earned our place as a specialized Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) partner trusted to support complex workstreams requiring technical depth, sound judgment, and dependable delivery.
That early success became the foundation for a relationship that has continued to expand.
From Focused Expertise to Broader Strategic Relevance
What began in infrastructure expanded into data, analytics, and AI/ML workstreams – reflecting growing confidence in NexTurn’s engineering capability across specialized areas of the technology stack.
Today, the client operates within a mature and highly structured partner ecosystem, where growth is driven by sustained performance, consistent delivery, and earned trust.
That is where NexTurn has continued to strengthen its position.
Operating at the Point Where Complexity Escalates
Today, NexTurn supports the client through a specialized Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) capability that drives platform reliability, complex infrastructure operations, and engineering-led resolution in high-stakes environments.
This is where the engagement becomes especially meaningful. NexTurn’s role is not defined by traditional support tiers, but by the depth of engineering capability required to operate, stabilize, and continuously improve complex platforms at scale.
For a company of NexTurn’s scale to be relied upon in such situations, within a global technology enterprise supported by some of the world’s largest IT services players, is a significant reflection of engineering credibility.
A major part of this trust has been built through NexTurn’s SRE capability and complex infrastructure operations. Across this engagement, NexTurn engineers support several high-skill domains, including:
- OpenStack SRE
NexTurn plays an important role in managing the client’s private cloud environment based on OpenStack, deployed across six production regions and one non-production region. The team also supports a new IaaS KVM service for engineering, currently in MVP stage.
In addition, NexTurn contributes to the lifecycle management of Operating System as a Service (OSaaS) images for OpenStack and KVM clients, including image maintenance, patching, security updates, and validated sharing across multi-tenant environments. - OpenShift SRE
NexTurn also contributes through a specialized Cluster as a Service (CaaS) team focused on delivering and operating enterprise Red Hat OpenShift clusters at scale.
Across ~200 enterprise Red Hat OpenShift clusters deployed across four highly available regions, NexTurn supports 15-25 active teams and 1,000+ workloads through a platform designed for reliability, governance, and controlled scale.
Its role spans the end-to-end cluster lifecycle, including provisioning, upgrades, patching, scaling, and decommissioning along with the management of development and staging environments that support testing and controlled production rollout.
NexTurn also enables tenant-level isolation for the client’s development, staging, and production workloads while helping ensure platform availability, stability, governance, RBAC, monitoring, and support.
By abstracting much of the underlying infrastructure complexity, the team enables application teams to stay focused on deployment and delivery.
The business impact is significant: 2-3-hour cluster provisioning, a ~60% reduction in provisioning effort, a 99.8% cluster uptime SLA, and 99.95% critical service availability – alongside faster time-to-market, reduced operational overhead, stronger security and governance, high reliability and scalability, and improved cost efficiency.
- Infrastructure Security
Beyond platform operations, NexTurn supports infrastructure security initiatives across the client environment – including security projects, governance requirements, vulnerability management, and operational security execution. This is strengthened by the team’s deep familiarity with the client’s infrastructure and processes, which enables NexTurn to drive security initiatives across multiple teams and environments.
Security outcomes include 100% container image scan compliance, a 95% reduction in compliance violations, and zero critical CVEs in production over the past 6+ months.
For a global technology enterprise to rely on NexTurn in such areas reflects far more than delivery bandwidth. It signals confidence in technical judgment, problem-solving capability, and the quality of engineering talent deployed on the engagement.
Expanding into the Next Chapter: AI
As the client expands its focus on AI-led transformation, NexTurn is contributing to work aligned with that direction.
A significant milestone in this engagement has been the client’s decision to involve NexTurn in emerging Agentic AI initiatives alongside internal teams.
This expansion now includes AI/ML engineers contributing across four production ML workstreams, reflecting continuity of trust and NexTurn’s expanding role across data and AI.
What This Engagement Represents
What began as a specialized engineering engagement has expanded into a broader relationship built on consistent delivery, deep technical capability, and earned trust. Today, NexTurn brings proven strength across SRE, infrastructure security, data, and AI within a demanding enterprise environment.
